Every October is declared ‘Inktober’, a month of daily drawing primarily using ink as a medium. In the past I drew all the time, everything from doodles to full on art pieces. But it has been a long time since I have been serious about it. Inktober 2019 has provided the push I needed to start drawing again.
With as busy as I tend to be, I decided to allow myself no more than 15 to 30 minutes per drawing, with an exception made for weekends. So most of these drawings were done sort of quickly, but I am very happy to see the progression from the 1st to the 31st and how much difference taking more time makes in how the drawings turned out. I even took the opportunity to try my hand at a little watercolor on a few of them. A lot of fun was had.
